Our History
To provide higer education opportunities to students from remote tribal areas like gondpipri and with aim to contribute to the development of rural areas, Vidyabharti Shikshan Mandal, Chandrapur was established by Hon. President Subhashsingh Gour and Hon. Secretary Dipak Guntewar.
Gondpipri Kala and Vanijya Mahavidyalay came into existance in 1989-90 and is operating to its fullest till date, thousands of students have pursued higher education and have reached to higher position.
To provide teachers training opportunities, Gondpipri Shikshan Mahavidyalay was established in 1992. Many students from all over Maharashtra came out with teachers training (B.Ed.) degree and today they are going to the corners of maharashtra and doing enlightment work . Many students are also working as higher ranking officers.

It was my earnest desire that higher education should be arranged for students of rural and trible region With the greatest desire to serve to the society, we decided to establish "Vidya Bharati Shikshan Mandal, chandrapur. As I belonged to rural area, it was my humble effort to do something for the education of rural students. Due to that inner fire, with the tireless efforts of all, we started Gondpipri Shikshan Mahavidyalay, Gondpipri.
We all knows, "To create better India, we need better minds. To create better minds, we need better guides(teachers) "
With this purpose, we started B. Ed college at Gondpipri.
Teachers are truly best guides of this society as they guide generation after generation. Today, we are so proud that many students from our college are serving as fine teachers in various institutions.
Running Gondpipri Shikshan Mahavidyalay is just a tiny effort to repay what we received from society. As we follow, "Come to Learn & Go to Serve'', I wish all the students better and bright future.

Teachers are the ones who can pull out individuals from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge. Every students, at some point in their life, have had a teacher whom they look up to and admire them.
As I personally belong to teaching fraternity, I know the importance of good teacher can be a Lighthouse to find the way of their career. We all know the role of a good teacher, for better students, better society and better nation.
That's why I and our elder brother Mr. Subhashsingh Gour decided to open Gondpipri Shikshan Mahavidyalaya at Gondpipri.
Those have dreamt to become a teacher, they had to rush to the district place which is nearly 60kms away from Gondpipri. As there were no facility was available for students from Gondpipri tahsil. But wit our college many students from various parts of Maharashtra fulfill their dream to become a "Teacher".
In Indian culture, " Guru is next to the God", hence we helping students to cherish their dreams. I wish all the students great future....

The teacher is the creator of new generation .In addition to teaching, teachers have to carry out social responsibilities. Teachers have a responsibility to inculcate new values in society through new experiments. Therefore, along with teaching skills, the aim of teacher training is to develop qualities like honesty, leadership qualities, endurance, creativity.
Just as a diamond does not shine without its facets, so a good teacher cannot be made without developing various aspects of his personality. Gondpipri College of Education Gondpipri organizes various programs for the development of innate talents in teacher trainees.
Our goal is not only to develop teaching skills but also to inculcate ethical values and develop qualified teachers. During the training period, student teachers acquire various skills. He is also gaining various experiences during this period .During this period, the teacher-disciple relationship also becomes stronger Both the teacer and the disciple are seekers of knowledge .Both have to accept the challenge of preserving social values and inculcating them in the new generation.
They have to carry out his planned work by mixing with people from solitude. The journey begins with the vow to come for knowledge and leave for service. It is the responsibility of our College of Education to build the capacity of student teachers to meet the challenges we face as future teachers.
This responsibility has been carried out by the college for the last thirty years and there is no doubt that the responsibility of making this a competent teacher will be fulfilled in the years to come
